David Balestra-Pimpini is a founding partner of BBP Architects and has experience in a wide range of projects ranging from commercial, institutional, multi-residential and residential projects. He has been instrumental in establishing the practice and has been involved in major commercial and residential design projects. 

Of more recent times, David has been responsible in expanding the practice into healthcare and associated institutional projects. Davidteaches, mentors and lectures at the University of Melbourne in architectural design and is currently teaching in the Master of Architecture studio. Previously he has also taught design at Royal Melbourne Institute of technology. He is a practicing member of the AIA (Australian Institute of Architects) and is a registered Architect. He has been a member of numerous institute committees including an awards juror. His interest lies in developing a singular big idea about an Architectural project and expressing & developing this idea through careful detail. 

David also enjoys riding his bike on weekends.


architect / SERGE BIGUZAS

Serge Biguzas is a founding partner of BBP Architects and has experience in a wide range of projects ranging from commercial, institutional, multi-residential and residential projects. He has been instrumental in establishing the practice and has been involved in major commercial and residential design projects. 

Serge teaches, mentors and lectures at Deakin University in architectural design and is currently teaching in the Master of Architecture studio. Previously he has also taught design at Royal Melbourne Institute of technology and University of Melbourne. 

He is a practicing member of the AIA (Australian Institute of Architects) and is a registered Architect. He has been a member of numerous institute committees including a tenure as a Chapter councillor.

His interest lies in developing concept and master planning and facilitating large projects at a high level of detail. Outside of practice, Serge enjoys competitive tennis.
