CHEMOTHERAPY UNITS, WONTHAGGI HOSPITAL
This building is a new annex to the existing hospital specifically designed for patients requiring chemotherapy treatment. The intent was to design a comfortable space capturing views and natural light to make the space as comfortable as possible for patients over an extended period of time. The serrated façade offers patients individual extended views from private treatment bays along with an external deck. This arrangement of spaces also allows patients to either integrate with other patients or provide private space as desired. The intent was to create spatial interest in what is otherwise a clinical space.
